AIM ATTITUDE INC. (“AIM ATTITUDE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates aimattitude.com. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and retained when you browse our website, purchase apparel, accessories or digital eBooks, subscribe to our communications, or contact us. Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you.

This policy describes our practices and your choices. It does not replace consent where consent is required by law. For privacy matters, this policy takes precedence over any conflicting wording in our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information we collect

The information processed depends on your interaction with AIM ATTITUDE:

  • Contact and account information: your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, account identifiers, login information and preferences.
  • Order and payment information: products selected, purchases, payment status, billing details, shipping and tracking information, returns, refunds and related correspondence. Payment providers process the payment credentials required for your chosen payment method.
  • Digital delivery information: your eBook order, delivery email, download access and related technical records used to provide and support digital delivery.
  • Communications and reviews: the information, images or other content you choose to submit through forms, support requests or reviews.
  • Device and activity information: IP address, browser and device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages, pages and products viewed, cart and checkout activity, and interactions with emails, links and advertisements.
  • Preferences and related inferences: communication choices and product interests inferred from interactions with our store and marketing.

We receive information directly from you, automatically through website and communication technologies, and from providers supporting payments, fulfillment, digital delivery, analytics and marketing.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to operate the store; manage accounts; process payments; arrange made-to-order production and shipping; deliver eBooks; provide order updates and support; handle eligible returns and refunds; maintain security; prevent fraud; comply with legal and accounting obligations; and resolve disputes.

Where permitted and subject to applicable privacy choices, we also use information to send brand communications, provide product and checkout reminders, recommend relevant products, understand website and email performance, and support advertising. We request consent where the law requires it.

3. Providers and recipients

We disclose relevant information to providers supporting the services they perform. Our connected services include:

  • Shopify: store hosting, checkout, customer accounts, order management, security, analytics and other commerce features.
  • Printful and delivery carriers: order details and recipient contact and delivery information used for production, fulfillment, shipping and order support.
  • Filemonk: order and customer information used to provide and support digital eBook access and delivery.
  • Klaviyo: contact details, marketing preferences, order information and permitted website and email activity used for email delivery, automated messages, audience organization and performance measurement.
  • Judge.me: customer and order information used for review services, and the review content you choose to submit.
  • Pandectes and Shopify privacy tools: information used to record and manage cookie and privacy preferences.
  • Google & YouTube, Meta’s Facebook & Instagram, and TikTok integrations: identifiers and permitted browsing, checkout or purchase activity used for measurement, audience matching and advertising functions, depending on the features enabled and your applicable choices.

Other recipients may include payment processors, hosting and technical providers, professional advisers and providers supporting connected sales channels. A provider may process information on our behalf or for its own disclosed purposes, depending on the service and applicable law.

We may also disclose information at your direction, in response to valid legal requirements, to protect legal rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law.

4. Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. Shopify may combine information about your interactions with AIM ATTITUDE, other merchants and Shopify to support enhanced services, including advertising, personalization and improvements to commerce services. For processing where Shopify determines its own purposes, Shopify is responsible for that processing and the associated privacy requests.

Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and visit the Shopify Privacy Portal for details and available rights. You can also use Your Privacy Choices on our website.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies, pixels and similar technologies support functions such as shopping carts, account access, security, saved preferences, analytics and marketing. Some activity information is also sent through server connections between our store and connected providers.

Advertising partners may associate identifiers, online activity and transaction information with information from other websites or services. These disclosures can qualify as a “sale,” “sharing” or processing for “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws, even without payment for the information.

Use the cookie controls displayed on our website and Your Privacy Choices to manage the available choices. Your browser also offers cookie controls. Blocking essential cookies can affect store functions. Preferences can be specific to a browser or device; clearing cookies or changing devices may require you to set them again.

Where applicable law requires recognition of Global Privacy Control, we treat that signal as an opt-out request for the browser and device sending it. The privacy choices page also provides an option to apply an opt-out to an associated customer account. Other browser “Do Not Track” signals are not a substitute for these controls.

6. Email communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each marketing email. Unsubscribing does not stop essential messages about an order, eBook delivery, account security or a support request. Email technologies may record delivery, opens, link clicks and related activity to help us operate and assess communications, subject to applicable law and your choices.

7. Retention and security

Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Order, payment and fulfillment records are retained as appropriate for transactions, tax and accounting obligations, disputes and fraud prevention. Account and support records are retained as appropriate to provide services and resolve requests. Marketing and consent records are retained as appropriate to manage communications and respect opt-outs. Device and analytics records are retained according to operational purposes and the settings of the relevant services.

We delete or de-identify personal information when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to lawful retention obligations. An unsubscribe or deletion request may require us to retain a limited record to honor your choice.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No electronic system offers absolute security. Please keep account credentials private and avoid sending payment card details, passwords or identity documents through general contact forms.

8. Your rights and requests

Depending on your location and whether the relevant law applies to AIM ATTITUDE, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information and information about its collection, use and disclosure.
  • Correct inaccurate information, request deletion, or obtain a portable copy.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and certain profiling where applicable.
  • Restrict processing, object to processing, or withdraw consent where applicable.
  • Limit certain uses of sensitive information where that right applies.
  • Appeal a decision about a privacy request or complain to the relevant regulator.

Submit requests through our Contact Us page and identify the message as a “Privacy request.” Advertising opt-outs are also available through Your Privacy Choices.

We may request information proportionate to verifying your identity and locating the relevant records. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, with evidence of their authority. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions, including lawful record-retention requirements. We respond within the period required by applicable law and do not unlawfully discriminate against customers who exercise privacy rights. To request an available appeal, contact us and identify the original request and the decision you wish to appeal.

9. International visitors

AIM ATTITUDE is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Protections can differ between jurisdictions. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the transfer must be supported by a recognized mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.

Where European, UK or Swiss data protection law applies, the legal basis depends on the purpose: fulfilling a contract for purchases and related services; legal obligations for required records; legitimate interests for proportionate administration, security and service improvement; and consent where required, including for certain marketing and tracking. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Contact us for information about an applicable transfer safeguard or to exercise your rights.

10. Children and sensitive information

Our collections and stories include content for families and younger audiences. Purchases, account management and marketing subscriptions are intended to be handled by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required parental consent. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided information improperly, please contact us so we can review and address it. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of children under 16.

AIM’s educational and wellness themes do not require you to submit medical records, diagnoses or details about your mental health. Please keep general inquiries limited to information relevant to your order or request.

11. Public content and external services

Reviews and content you choose to publish can be visible to others. Social networks and external websites linked from our store operate under their own privacy practices. Review their notices before submitting information through those services.

12. Policy updates

We may revise this policy when our services, practices or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised text and update the date above. We provide additional notice and request consent when required by law.

13. Contact AIM ATTITUDE

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact AIM ATTITUDE INC. through our Contact Us page. Include “Privacy request” and a clear description of your request, together with the email address associated with the relevant account or order.
