Creativity gives us another way to speak.
Human beings have always created.
Not only because we want to make beautiful things.
Because creation helps us process experience.
A child draws before knowing how to explain every emotion.
A songwriter turns memory into sound.
A filmmaker builds an entire world around one question.
A teenager creates a character who can say something they are not yet ready to say directly.
A designer transforms identity into form.
Creativity allows what is internal to become visible.
That makes it deeply connected to the I AM.
What attracts us?
What do we imagine?
What do we return to again and again?
What do we create when no one has told us what the answer is?
These questions reveal something.
Sometimes creativity reveals passion.
Sometimes emotion.
Sometimes uncertainty.
Sometimes a future we have not yet stepped into.
Dreaming belongs here too.
Dreams are creative acts before they become plans.
They allow possibility to exist before evidence arrives.
A dream can be unreasonable and still teach us something meaningful about what attracts our attention.

That moment is human connection.
Creativity moves the inner world outward.
Connection brings something back.

Perhaps that is one of creativity's greatest gifts.
